CONVERSATIONS IN A WAITING ROOM
SHORT FILM | Dark Comedy
ABOUT
A pair of short films set in a hospital waiting room, where pairs of patients, accompanied by their diagnoses, pass the time together. Each conversation hovers between the ordinary and the life-changing as they wait for an appointment that will reshape everything.
THE
STORY
Made for an experimental short challenge and proof of concept for 'Dear Annie, I Hate You'. Shot on a Canon C100, with no crew, no budget, and only a 48 hour turnaround. The piece was shown in festivals in LA and NYC and became the first proof of life for what later became 'Dear Annie, I Hate You'.
